The City of Biñan hosted this year’s ‘Search for Cleanest and Best Hotels, Resorts, Restaurants and Gasoline Station and Cleanest Public Markets’ conducted by Laguna Tourism, Culture, Arts and Trade Office (LTCATO) under the Provincial Government of Laguna on December 12, 2017 at People’s Center, Brgy. Zapote City of Biñan. Mayor Arman Dimaguila, together with the city’s Culture, History, Arts and Tourism Officer, Mr. BJ Borja, cordially welcomed extinguish guests and personalities including Governor Ramil Hernandez, Vice Gov. Karen Agapay, Hon. Ruth Hernandez, Col. Andrew Nocon – President of Laguna Tourism Council, Dr. Rosauro Sta. Maria, Jr. – Chairperson of Laguna Tourism, Culture, Arts and Trade Office, and Mayors from different cities in Laguna. “Hindi natin pwedeng iwanan ang ating turismo at cultural heritage, Ayoko lang po makilala ang Biñan sa komersyalismo, industrialisasyon at sa mga produkto nito. Gusto kong makilala ang lungsod ng Biñan sa kanyang nakaraan,” Mayor Arman pronounced. On the other hand, two gasoline stations in the city were rewarded as Best Gasoline Station; Shell Fortunewell (SLEX) located in Brgy. Mamplasan placed 2nd; and Caltex-Perry’s Fuel positioned in Brgy. Sto. Tomas placed 3rd. “Lahat sana ng establesimiento sa lalawigan ng Laguna ay magwagi nang sa gano’n ay makilala bilang pinaka-malinis at pinaka-maganda,” Col. Nocon said on his remarks. Next year, search for the Best Plaza will be added to the program of LTCATO as they believe it manifest a city or municipality as a whole.more photos
