The long wait is finally over. Southwoods Mall owned by Andrew Tan opens today, September 30, 2017 located at Southwoods City, Brgy. San Francisco, City of Biñan, Laguna. The grand opening and ribbon cutting of the P2-billion mall was led by Megaworld Lifestyle Malls Senior Vice President Kevin Tan, Congresswoman Len Alonte-Naguiat, our City Mayor Arman Dimaguila and other distinguished businessmen and women. Vice Mayor Gel Alonte and members of the City Council were also present on the said event. The 58,000-square-meter, three-level Southwoods Mall has a four (4) cinemas, department store, hardware store, toy store, supermarket and a twenty-four (24)-hour Food Hall. Tan said that it [Southwoods Mall] is the first big mall along SLEX and the first full-scale lifestyle mall in the south. Southwoods Mall posted an 11% increase in net income in the 1st half of 2017. Rep. Len, Mayor Arman and Vice Mayor Gel are very positive and glad that many locators are putting up business in the City of Biñan. They are working hard to encourage more investors to create more jobs and to boost the income of the city.more photos
