Last May 24, 2017, the Department of Trade & Industry- Laguna, in cooperation with the City Government of Biñan and DTI Recognized Industry Associations, held a seminar about product standards and conformance at Biñan City People’s Center. Flat Glass Alliance of the Philippines, Inc., Ceramic Tile Manufacturers, Inc., Philippine Electric and Wires Manufacturers, Inc., Philippines Steelmakers Association, Inc., and Steel Angles- Shapes & Section Manufacturer’s Assoc. of the Philippines, Inc. were partners in the forum. Officer in charge of the Consumer Protection Division of DTI- Laguna Mr. Cesar Gerpacio was the one to acknowledge the guests and participants, Department Head of City Cooperatives and Development Office Mr. Christopher Alba welcomed them and gave an insight about the purpose of the seminar, and Dir. Marilou Toledo delivered a message to inspire everyone who was present. The DTI DAO No.2, Series of 2007 was then briefed by Mr. Senando Guinto. Each corporation had an allotted time to exhibit their presentation on Philippine National Standards.more photos
