Acacia Hotel, Alabang – The National Nutrition Council (NNC) 4A recognized the City of Biñan as a Nutrition Honor Award (NHA) Maintainer during the 2024 Regional Nutrition Awarding Ceremony held on November 11.
Mayor Arman Dimaguila delivered an inspirational message and received the awards together with Vice Mayor GEL Alonte.
This prestigious accolade highlights Biñan’s consistent commitment to promoting nutrition and health among its residents. Among other awardees were:
(1st Place) 2023 Regional Outstanding City Nutrition Action Officer – Ms. Isidora Alias
(Finalist) Regional Outstanding Barangay Nutrition Scholar Finalist – Beejay Arquiza Malaban
(Finalist) Regional Outstanding Barangay Nutrition Committee – Brgy. San Vicente
As NHA Maintainer, Biñan has demonstrated excellence in implementing nutrition programs. Morever, this award is a testament to the city’s efforts in addressing malnutrition and promoting proper nutrition education across all sectors of the community.
