Mayor Arman Dimaguila welcomed the newly appointed Chief of Police, P/Supt. Reydante E. Ariza, Police Deputy, C/Insp. Rodelio M. Calawit and the one hundred seventeen (117) newly destined police from Lucena on September 18, 2017 during the flag ceremony. “Sila po ang bagong makakatulong sa peace and order sa City of Biñan…di maaaring ang pagkakamali ng isa o dalawa [pulis] ay makasira sa inyong lahat. May ibang nagkakamali pero hindi lahat ay katulad nila,” Mayor Arman stressed. The introduction of the policemen was then followed by a meeting with the department heads, Association of Barangay Council (ABC), members of the City Council and the police. “Ang ating kampanya sa droga, ire-revitalize natin. Kung paano tayo nagsagawa ng Tokhang, dudoblehin natin ‘yun,” he added. Mayor Dimaguila said that he will intensify the war against illegal through Oplan Salikop – our very own version of Oplan Tokhang, with the help of the new set of police.more photos
