A walk for a cause named “Balik Pamilya Simula ng Pagbabago for Drug Surrenderees” spearheaded by Congresswoman Len Alonte-Naguiat, Mayor Arman Dimaguila, Vice Mayor Gel Alonte, together with the members of the City Council, Association of Barangay Council and Philippine National Police, commenced on October 12, 2017 at Splash Island, Southwoods, Brgy. San Francisco, City of Biñan. “No’ng unang araw na natutunan niyong gumamit ng bawal na gamot, tinalikuran niyo ang inyong pamilya, asawa at anak. Tingnan niyo ang inyong mga anak, iniisip nyo na baka malunod sila. Ayaw din ng inyong mga anak na malunod kayo [sa ipinagbabawal na gamot]. Masaya sila dahil ito ang araw ng inyong pagbabago,” Mayor Arman uttered. PNP Chief Ronald “Bato” dela Rosa, PSupt. Ma-O Aplasca – Regional Director 4A, PSSupt. Cecilio Ison Jr – Provincial Director Laguna, Mr. Laurence Tugaoen – SIPAG Project Leader and PSupt. Reydante Ariza – Binan Police OIC were also present to witness the fruit of their labor and hard work. “Sa ating ga-graduate na surrenderees ako’y humahanga sa inyo. Una ‘yung acceptance at pag-amin ninyo ay napakalaking bagay iyon. Pangalawa, ‘yung pag-reform ninyo ay kahanga-hanga. Natutuwa kami at ang City of Biñan sa inyo, congratulations,” Chief dela Rosa said. Three hundred and fifty six (356) surrenderees graduated on the said program and pledged to continue the change they have started for themselves and their family. Congratulations graduates! “Sa Lungsod ng Biñan, Mamamayan ay Maaasahan”more photos
