The City of Biñan was awarded 3rd place (regional) in the 2023 Local Government Unit Compliance Audit (LGU-CA) under the for its significant contribution to the Manila Bay Clean-Up, Rehabilitation, and Preservation Program (MBCRPP) on December 2.
Biñan was also given the Platinum Award (provincial) with the rating of 98.31 during the LGU-CA.
Vice Mayor GEL Alonte, CENRO Head Rodel Lee, Councilor Jedi Alatiit, and CLGOO Lenie Bautista accepted the awards. The prestigious recognition was presented during a ceremony held in Lipa, Batangas, highlighting the efforts of local government units in preserving and rehabilitating the Manila Bay area.
