City of Biñan Holds First Ever Youth Art Exhibit

The 1st ever Biñan Youth Art Exhibit “Sining at Kabataan Art Exhibit”, initiated by the City of Biñan Youth Development Office in partnership with Biñan Culture, History, Arts and Tourism Office (BCHATO) and Bayanihan Lions Club was held at Biñan People’s Center on August 9, 2017. Mrs. Maria Teresa Bautista, the President of Biñan Bayanihan Lions Club was present to give a welcoming remarks and City Councilor Liza Lopez-Cardeño uttered special message for the young aspiring artists. Bj Borja, the department head of BCHATO hosted the said program. 22 kids are trained on basic skills in drawing and painting for 10 weeks. They showcased their talents and knowledge gained on the exhibit. They are guided and instructed by Mr. Ehric Egualada, born from Angono, Rizal where two National Artists came from – Carlos “Botong” Francisco for National Artist for Visual Arts and Lucio San Pedro for Musicmore photos
