The Gender and Development Office, in partnership with the Kalinga ng Angel Foundation, the City Education Office – INB, the City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office, and the Philippine Red Cross – Laguna Chapter, successfully conducted the “Be the Spark, Give, Empower, Live! Blood Donation Drive” on January 15 at the Biñan People’s Center.
The bloodletting activity commenced with the oath-taking ceremony of the newly elected officers of the Philippine Red Cross – Biñan Chapter, led by Ms. Jhozalyn Alonte as the newly elected chairperson.
This event served not only as a medical activity but also as an act of kindness and social responsibility. Every bag of blood donated is a gift of life, and each donor becomes a silent hero.
