Biñan earned multiple recognitions at the 2025 ODPP Gawad Parangal and Excellence Awards held on December 12 at the People’s Center as part of the Data Privacy Conference 2025.
The City Government of Biñan, headed by Mayor GEL Alonte, received the 2025 Gawad Parangal Excellence Award for its active compliance in data protection.
Biñan City Data Privacy Committee was also honored with the same award for its proactive data privacy governance.
Organization of Data Privacy Professionals (ODPP) also awarded Cong Arman Dimaguila for his foundational role in establishing the city’s Data Privacy Governance Program.
