Biñan City : Finalist in eGov Awards 2017
The City of Biñan was selected finalist in the recently concluded 6th eGov Awards of 2017.The entry entitled Biñan City Command Control and Communication Center (BC3) and Biñan 911 made the final list in best in Customer Empowerment (G2C) category.
The eGov Awards or Awards for Excellence in ICT for Good Governance for Local Government units is an annual search for the best practices in local government units in utilizing information and communications technology (ICT) to effectively and efficiently deliver its public services directly to its constituents.
It is organized by the National ICT Confederation of the Philippines (NICP) in collaboration with the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) and the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT). On behalf of the City Mayor Atty. Walfredo R. Dimaguila, the ICT group headed by Mr. Ramon Almazan will receive a plaque on November 17, 2017 during the 6th eGov Awards ceremony in Cagayan de Oro City.
