Beneficiaries Receive Financial Aid

CITY HALL – Sixty-six (66) beneficiaries received their quarterly social pension funded by the City Government of Biñan and more than seventy (70) citizens received their financial assistance on September 6, 2017. Our City Mayor, Atty. Walfredo R. Dimaguila, Jr., together with Mrs. Lourdes Dimaguila – head of GAD, Ms. Adora Pascual – CSWD Officer and members of the City Council, led the distribution of the pension to qualified senior citizens in Biñan. On the other hand, financial assistance was given to beneficiaries of Assistance to Individuals in Crisis Situation (AICS) program that covers death of an immediate family, medical problems, victims of disaster, etc. “Ang mga senior citizen ang gamot po ninyo kung hindi man discount baka libre pa,” Mayor Arman said. Each senior citizen was given an amount of Php 4,500 that covered the months of January to September (500/month). “Binibigay po natin ang tulong agad-agad. Kaya nagkaroon ng programa ang pamahalaan na kapag taga-Biñan ka, mahirap ka at binawian ng buhay, libre po ang serbisyo natin,” he added. The City Mayor ensures a faster provision of assistance under his administration.
