Biñan City officially launched the 51st National Nutrition Month on July 7 with the theme, “Food at Nutrition Security, Maging Priority! Sapat na Pagkain, Karapatan Natin!” emphasizing that access to nutritious food is a basic human right.
Led by the city government of Biñan, in partnership with the National Nutrition Council (NNC), the event featured a nutri-parade, press conference, nutrition talks, community pledge, nutri-sapat marketplace exhibit, and healthy basket challenge.
The campaign supports the Philippine Plan of Action for Nutrition (PPAN) 2023–2028. The theme highlights the intersection of health, human rights, and food justice—a message the local government hopes to carry forward beyond the Nutrition Month celebration.
