Forty six (46) Biñanense graduated on Dressmaking NCII Training Course on February 8, 2018 at Garments Factory, Brgy. Malamig, City of Biñan. The City Government of Biñan, in partnership with The Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA), Public Employment Service Office, Gender and Development Office and Serbisyong Arman, conducted the training. Mr. Benito Reyes – Vocational School Administrator III, Ms. Susana San Jose – Student Support Service Head, Ms. Luzviminda Alomia and Ms. Jasmine Alonte led the distribution of the certificates. Nanay Ambrosia Nas, 64, the eldest graduate of the training course said, “Kung ‘di po dahil kay Mayor ‘di ako matuto manahi. Ito pong natutunan ko ay mashe-share ko sa ibang tao, sa aking anak at apo. Salamat po ng marami.” “Kapag mayro’n kang skills dala-dala mo ‘yan at kahit saan ay pwede mong gamitin ‘yan,” Reyes said. The DRESSMAKING NC enables to draft and cut pattern; lay-out pattern on the material/fabric, sew material/fabric and apply finishing touches on the ladies casual apparel of the Garment sector. Casual Apparel consists of casual dress, blouse, skirt, trouser, shorts and culottes.more photos
