Biñan Receives 2 E-Trikes
December 13, 2017A total of one hundred (100) couples exchanged vows in the biggest mass wedding in the City of Biñan on December 13, 2017 held at Alonte Sports Arena. The City Government of Biñan, through the City Civil Registrar supervised by Mr. Tomas Manabat and the City Population supervised by Ms. Maria Bonacua, conducted the Civil Mass Wedding of these Biñanenses. Our very own Local Chief Executive, Atty. Walfredo R. Dimaguila, Jr., officiated the union of the couples. Vice Mayor Gel Alonte and members of the Sangguniang Panlunsod served as witnesses to the marriage rite. “Dalangin kop o ay magsama kayo ng habang buhay,” Vice Mayor Gel said. The couples marched on a red carpet—accompanied with instrumental love songs and serenaded by Biñan Metropolitan Chorus. There were also photographers who snapped their wedding photos. In addition, the city government shouldered the cakes, reception and dinner of new husband-and-wife, together with their guests. Congresswoman Len Alonte extended her sincerest congratulations to the newlyweds and presented a gift. Mayor Arman, on the other hand, delivered his remark and gave the couples some advice for a healthy, happy and everlasting relationship: they must accept respect each other; love each other unconditionally; and keep their relationship interesting. “Ang challenge ay dapat mas mahal ninyo ang asawa niyo bukas, next week, next month, next year. Bigyan niyo ang asawa n’yo ng dahilan upang mas mahalin kayo,” Mayor Arman furthered. The said mass wedding is intended to help impoverished couples take their wedding vows and formalized their relationship. It also aims to save couples from the hassle of wedding planning and preparations. “Kapag ang tao ay nagmamahal, ‘di lang mata ang ginagamit para makita ang kagandahan nya, nakikita niyo dapat ang pagmamahal at pagsasakripisyo niya para sa inyo,” Mayor Arman added.more photos
