The City of Biñan has been named a national finalist in two prestigious categories at the Association of Tourism Officers of the Philippines (ATOP) Pearl Awards 2025.

The validation, and question and answer session took place yesterday, September 6, at the University of Santo Tomas (UST), where the city presented its cultural and tourism programs before the panel of judges.

Biñan is competing for two categories—Best Cultural Event (Puto Latik Festival), and Best Program for Culture and the Arts (Dulambayan Biñan Theater Arts Festival).

Mayor Gel Alonte, Vice Mayor Dada Reyes, and Councilor Ingrid Almeda led the city’s delegation and showcased Biñan’s achievements and initiatives that highlight its cultural identity and tourism development.
