In a proactive move to address the growing concern of electronic waste, the City Government of Biรฑan, through its Information and Communication Technology Office (ICTO), launched the Electronic Recyclable Drop Box (E-BIN) in partnership with HMR Envirocycle Philippines, Inc. on Monday, June 2.
The E-BIN, now available at the Biรฑan City Hall Lobby, is designed to provide residents and employees a convenient and eco-friendly way to dispose of their old and unused electronic devices.
The drop box accepts a variety of electronic waste items including cables and cords, laptops, cameras, mobile phones, tablets, monitors, keyboards, etc.
